      • Mr Williams, I agree with you. We are not followers of the heresy of Sabellius, who held the the Holy Trinity was simply three faces of the same Divinity, and no longer preached the Son and Word of the Father. But in the words of St Hippolytus of Rome, a leading critic of sabellianism:

“Let us believe then, dear brethren, according to the tradition of the apostles, that God the Word came down from heaven, (and entered) into the holy Virgin Mary, in order that, taking the flesh from her, and assuming also a human, by which I mean a rational soul, and becoming thus all that man is with the exception of sin, He might save fallen man, and confer immortality on men who believe on His name”

Secondly, Christ stated that all nations would be judged and raised by him at the end of time, and that all creation must “honour the Son just as they honour the Father. Whoever does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent Him”. These are not the words of one who is to be judged, but who is, in fact, himself the judge.

Thank you that you confirm and agree that Jesus said that God is his Father and that God is our Father as well. Jesus words which you quote confirms that Islam is false and Allah is false god for the reason that Quran denies that God is the Father.

There is only one God and his name is Yahweh. Muhammad never spoke or even mentioned his (Yahweh) name for the reason that Muhammad was never true prophet, otherwise, he would worship Yahweh and you would have his name in Islam, but you lack this holy name. Fact.

Let’s check what God was worshiped by propehts?

        A) God of Isaiah? Yahweh

        Isaiah 42:8
        “I am Yahweh.
        That is my name.
I will not give my glory to another,
nor my praise to engraved images.

        B) God of Moses? Yahweh
        Deuteronomy 8:6
6 You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

        Deuteronomy 6:4
4 Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one.

        C) God of David? Yahweh
        Psalm 2:7
I will tell of the decree: Yahweh said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.

        D) God of Muhammad? NOT YAHWEH!!!!

There is many evidences that Jesus claims to be God, I decided from MANY proofs to use titles: The First and the Last.

        Revelation 2:8 and 1:17
        Jesus says:
8 “To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write:

“The First and the Last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man.

He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last, 18 and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

Now what does God say in Old Testament?

        Isaiah 44:6
6 This is what Yahweh, the King of Israel,
and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies, says:
        “I am the First, and I am the Last;
and besides me there is no God.

        Conclusion:
Islam is false and Muslims are people who were deceived by false prophet. Instead of realising this fact, they cherry-pick verses, making their own and false assumption and they ignore whole Bible, which points to Jesus as God.

There is no god but triune God YAHWEH (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and Muhammad is false prophet!

Etymology fallacy will not save you from the Hellfire. As the Jews have their true God the Tetragrammaton (Yod, He, Vav, and He), so as the other beliefs call the one True God in their own languages. Prove to me that Jesus/Iisoo/Yeshua is Pantokrator and Everlasting Father if you are truthful. Or your probably confusing with the Christos or Masih.

As St Irenaeus said “the Word of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, who did, through His transcendent love, become what we are, that He might bring us to be even what He is Himself.”

This blatant theft is an action that would be profoundly repugnant to Our Lord Christ, the Apostles and the saints of the Church. It is the equivalent of transforming your prophets mosque in Medina into a Basilica.

      Mark 12:28-34

28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but HIM. 33 To love HIM with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.”

      • The ignorance of Jesus’ words writen in Greek NT is at the same level as ignorance of Muhammad who pretended to be prophet of God, Yahweh. And thanks to his ignorance we can reveal that Muhammad was truly false prophet and Muslims were deceived by him.

        Proof of my words above:

You quote Mark 12:29 without knowledge that Jesus was repeating what was revealed to Moses and by Moses writen in Deuteronomy 6:4!!!

        Deuteronomy 6:4
4 Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one.

        Mark 12:29
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

In the time of Jesus, Jews were not afraid to pronounce name of our true God Yahweh loudly or even write it. Later, the name Yahweh was not used because people were afraid that they will say/write his name in vein. They switched in later manuscripts Yahweh for “the Lord/Adonai”. Muhammad never heard or could never read that the holy name of our true God is Yahweh. For this reasons, Muslims dont know this holy name Yahweh is name of our God. Islam has 99 names and not even one is Yahweh.

Stop being ignorant like rest of Muslims deceived by Muhammad. Open your eyes and denounce false religion created by Antichrist and his followe false prophet Muhammad.

        2 Corinthians 13:14
        1 Peter 1:1-2
        1 Corinthians 8:6

Therefore, belief in the Deity of Christ or the doctrine of the Trinity is not polytheism.

      • Uh Kenny, can you please substantiate, where these verses conceptualize God Almighty is comprised of 3 distinct persons that collectivelly form HIS one single divine being?

        Mark 12:29
        Matthew 28:19
        2 Corinthians 13:14
        1 Peter 1:1-2
        1 Corinthians 8:6

Merely applying your own personal eisegesis in an attempt to presume each individual person of the trinity are a divine person illustrates you are actually a polytheist that worships 3 distinct personal, separate gods

To support Trinitarian Monotheism is Biblical Monotheism you need to biblically substantiating using biblical exegesis that each divine person of the trinity *collectivelly* form the One single being of God.

i.e in references to verses where God is refered to as one God, actually means, according to Trinitarian Monotheism, 3 distinct persons collectivelly form one divine being, which none of these verses you mentioned support this trinitarian ‘óneness’

Sorry Kenny, Trinitarian ‘Oneness’ of God is not articulated, neither represents Biblical Monotheism.

Here is a simple task for you Kenny 🙂

When the man responded to Jesus as teacher declaring:

“Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but HIM”

Please entertain us by applying biblical exegesis to substantiate that HIM – God Almighty is comprised of 3 distinct persons that form HIS one divine being?

In other words, the one ‘HIM’ is comprised of 3 distinct persons that form one divine being?

True Monotheism is not NT Trinitarian Monotheism – When applying biblical terms and definitions and exegesis to view, measure, analyse your Trinitarian Montheism beliefs Kenny, you are exposed in reality as a polytheist who worships 3 distinct and separate eternal gods

Do you see it? Muslims cannot even build their place of worship, they steal everything for the reason that even the founder of Islam, Muhammad, was according to MUSLIM’S sources a thief. Since in Islam is not truth and Islam and Muhammad cannot be longer defended, Muslims try to cover the truth by lies.

      Cathedral of Cordoba:
According to traditional accounts, a Visigoth church, the Catholic Christian Basilica of Saint Vincent of Lérins, originally stood on the site.
In 784 Abd al-Rahman I ordered the conversion of the church into a mosque and further construction, which was considerably expanded by later Muslim rulers. Córdoba returned to Christian rule in 1236 during the Reconquista, and the building was reconverted to a Catholic church, culminating in the insertion of a Renaissance cathedral nave in the 16th century.

    • A very strong opinion in classical Islamic jurisprudence holds that when a Muslim ruler conquers a non-Muslim land, he has discretion whether to let its houses of worship be or convert them to mosques. Obviously this was also the norm for pre-modern empires of any religion.

Under this view, there’s nothing inherently unjust in this whatsoever, as it lies within the prerogative of the victors. As I discussed in this thread, no one thought it remotely unusual when Spain demolished mosques or converted them to churches after the reconquista.

Nor was it deemed unjust by anyone in any way when churches became mosques and then churches again as lands were exchanged between empires of different faiths.

Many contemporary Christians continue to accept this norm and would absolutely reject as absurd any suggestion of converting the cathedral of Córdoba back to a mosque, or any of the hundreds of mosques destroyed or repurposed by the Greeks, Serbs etc after Ottoman defeats.

Again as I discussed in the above thread, this doesn’t mean that people experienced no anger or sadness at seeing their mosque or church converted or destroyed. But that sense stemmed from their perception that the forces of falsehood had triumphed over the forces of truth.

And from a sense that by their own failures as worshippers of God, they had earned this humiliation. But there was no sense that in converting the house of worship that the new conquerors had done anything per se unjust, beyond their status as the forces of Satan.

Because many or most contemporary Christians appear to accept this premodern moral framework when it comes to the question (which no one is seriously proposing anyway) of restoring the mosques of Córdoba, Greece, Serbia, etc. then those who accept this cannot in any way, with integrity, deem Sultan Fatih’s conversion of Aya Sofia into a mosque to be unjust on the basis of some notion that a conqueror has no right to do as he pleases with the houses of worship of the conquered land, & by extension they likewise cannot with integrity object that Erdogan’s decision to undue the militant irreligious, secularist decision of Ataturk to turn Aya Sofia into a museum.

Any objection by Christians on this ground, if it is in good faith, must be accompanied by demands that the former mosques of Spain, Greece, Serbia etc be immediately restored.

And likewise, as to those Muslims embracing this classical opinion of Islamic jurisprudence (again, perfectly aligned with then-contemporary norms) to satisfy themselves that Sultan Fatih’s conversion of Aya Sofia to a mosque was just and within his prerogative, and that therefore Erdogan’s decision to overturn Ataturk’s secularism-driven conversion of the mosque to a museum was likewise justified
must accept the decision of the Christian conquerors of the former Muslim domains of Spain & the Ottomans to convert the mosques to churches was not unjust, since (under this view) conquerors may justly do as they please with the houses of worship of the conquered.

And of course the Muslims who accept this principle will still be understandably angry & sad at the conversion of these mosques, but only on the grounds that the forces of falsehood have been victorious, & that the weakness & sinfulness of the Muslims led to this, but not on the grounds that they are somehow the victims of injustice. Likewise if the rulers of the State of Israel decide tomorrow to raze Masjid al-Aqsa & build a Jewish temple on its site..

Thus, there are very different implications.

This is not to suggest that everything in 21st century is pure but it conversely states that everything a thousand years ago was not pure either.

I don’t remember seeing any dates of when jurisprudence can begin or end in the Qur’an, do you?

And I would be very cautious of overruling the plain words of God’s direct words with jurisprudence of human beings….not saying it is impossible since all language has connotations and context, but very cautious.

Something that is amiss from Hadith and Empire based jurisprudence instead of jurisprudence based on submission to God’s words first and foremost.
