The Qur’an’s continuing relevance to today’s Christian worship

And beware the Day when Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'” He will say, “Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.

  1. The only thing and i mean ONLY THING a person who believes in the bible can say is “those arent real/true Christians”. Bible makes the creator and his prophets out to look like unmercifull trailer park incest trash and worse.

P.s. the bottom of that statue says made in china

  2. Using the word deity is going too far. I think Mohammed, or whoever wrote the Koran, got it wrong.

    • judging by the pics above the Quran gets it right.

Bowing down to Mary, praying to her, calling her ‘Queen of the Universe’ and ‘Mother of God’ (as Catholics do) is to treat her as a deity.

It is you who are wrong Erasmus.

    • Not one word wrong, deal with it.

    • Iggy is just being Iggy. Bowing down to a statue is an act of worship, so even if Mary is not referred to as a “deity”, she is still an object of worship.

Moreover, there have been people who literally worshiped her as a deity, i.e., the Collyridians.
