  1. Salaam alaikoum. Paul, i’ve sent you email regarding littlejihad.com

    Have you seen it?

  2. It is nice to have a blogg where others, even experts, can share their views without hopefully being hassled. I think Dr. Joshua had some interesting things to present and therein lies the rub! What did Jesus (pbh) have to say about these things? Jesus who? And that is the tell tale point!!!
Those religious councils reminds me of a circus and the clowns who make people laugh because they present the absurd into a knowing context! So once a ‘paid professional’ goes down a certain route, he will support his decisions and his methods with veracity especially if he is being paid for it! This applies to the Brown Shirts of Germany as well as the sycophonts or followers of a particular creed who bend the knee out of fear or for a little bit of coin (protecting one’s job status or rising to a point of making money off the ideas no matter how corrupt they may be)!
So, we have that example given to us in the Quran and in hadith about the followers of various ‘philosophies’ who take as their lord their priests and anchorites (also Imams) as another hadith points out without due or rigorous thought.
Hence the Quran and Paul of Tarsus both lambast these types of people (followers of such rubbish) as to why they have earned their painfull sentence on the Last Day of Judgment:
“YOU HAVE MET THIS FATE because you {carelessly} rejoiced on the earth in things OTHER than the truth, AND THEN EXULTED IN IT.” Quran (40:75)
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness {found} in them that perish; because they did not receive {believe in or fight for} the love of the truth that they might be saved.
AND FOR THIS CAUSE {contempt for GOD’s TRUTH and refusal to follow HIS WILL/PLAN/PURPOSE} GOD shall send {upon} them STRONG DELUSION that they should believe {in} a lie {focus not on doing what is right – the real food for the soul}:
That they all might be damned who didn’t believe the truth but had pleasure in {took their comfort in doing other than the truthful WAY} unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians (2: 10-12)

A hadith (saying) from `Adi bin Hatim, who became Christian during the time of Jahiliyyah. When the call of the Messenger of Allah reached his area, `Adi ran away to Ash-Sham, and his sister and several of his people were captured. The Messenger of Allah freed his sister and gave her gifts. So she went to her brother and encouraged him to become Muslim and to go to the Messenger of Allah. `Adi went to the Messenger of Allah wearing a silver cross around his neck. The Messenger of Allah recited this Verse:
They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). Quran (9:31):
`Adi commented by saying: “They did not worship them.” The Prophet said, (Yes they did. They (to be interpreted) rabbis, monks/priests/ministers) prohibited the allowed for them (Christians and Jews) and allowed the prohibited, and they obeyed these people. This is how they worshipped them.) The Messenger of Allah then invited `Adi to embrace Islam, and he embraced Islam and pronounced the Testimony of Truth.
As declared by Jesus (pbh), “And in vain {in uselessness} they worship me, {by} teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew (15:9). That is they make up their own doctrines NOT declared openly in their own Holy Books.
Well that about sums it up!
