  1. Marriage was the norm for Pharisees, and it was required for rabbis (Jesus (p) was considered a rabbi). As a member of Pharisaic society Jesus (p) have set himself forth as an exemplar of Pharisaical piety so it is likely that Jesus would have been married and had a son.
