    I’m not aware of men and women *not* being allowed to marry, as per tradition, just because the religious right can no longer impose its positions so easily upon those who don’t share their views.

    • I think, in the context of the original post, there’s this myth that people can’t be traditional anymore. It’s not true of course, except perhaps in the case of traditions that involved denying others freedoms and rights, or in the case of traditions that hurt people.
