  1. I just watched the whole of it. I can only say: Thank you Prof. Ali Ataie and thank you Paul Williams!

  2. People who don’t believe the bible are “experts” on the bible. Beats me.

  3. It’s like having an atheist teaching the Koran.

    • You know in academic settings, not everyone who teaches about the scripture of another religion, will necessarily be a follower of that faith, right?

Also Dr Ataie does believe in the Torah and Injeel, but not necessarily the parts of the Old/New Testament which contradict Quranic teachings.. this is to be expected

But your example of an athiest teaching the Quran, what about when you Christian missionaries try to teach us Muslims what our scripture “REALLY” means (according to your interpretations)?

If its inappropriate for Dr Ali, a Muslim to teach about the Prophet in the Bible, then its definitely inappropriate for you Christians (especially Ken Temple), to teach us Muslims what the Quran truly means.

        Thanks for the mention.

This can be turned around against you.

Since the Quran has both some things that are true, and some major things that are false and wrong.

The Qur’an affirms the Previous Scriptures (5:47; 5:68; 10:04; 3:3), but contradicts the previous Scriptures (4:157; 4:171 and many others.)

The Qur’an also unknowingly affirms substitutionary atonement. (Surah 37:107)

      • @ken

Do you want to start again?

The Quran didn’t affirm The 4 NT and of course The Quran contradict the 4 NT because The Injeel is not the 4 NT

  4. Affirming a book that never existed. More stupidity from Islam.
