I wish to make a public apology to any Muslims I have offended or hurt through my written words on Blogging Theology, or any hurtful or unfair speech I have uttered in the past. I have made mistakes (sometimes without realising it), and I wish to apologise to all those concerned.
I take solace in these inspiring words:
“Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous. Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men, for Allah loves those who do good.” (3:133-134)
kind regards
Paul Williams

Don’t worry mr. Williams, you didn’t do anything bad as far as I remember.
One question I have for you:
Can you give block or ban users from coming to your website? If so, can you ban or block Sam Shamoun from coming since he is a coward hypocrite and since he is a filthy liar?
Yes, I agree.

Ps
Brother Paul, What you have said years ago can not be compared as to what you are now. We all love you for the sake of Allah. We are brothers in the Sight of Allah.
We have not created the heavens and the earth and everything in between except for a purpose. And the Hour is certain to come, so forgive with gracious forgiveness. Quran (15:85)
SALAM
I love you Br Paul for the sake of Allah! You are doing a great work! always love to learn many different things from you. respect .
So, does your apology the comments you made about “tribalism” attitudes; and does it include to Ijaz and Faiz and Stewjo ?
(who were mean and unreasonable to you)
Sorry, typos:
So, does your apology include the comments you made about “tribalism” attitudes; and does it include the problems with Ijaz and Faiz and Stewjo ?
(who were mean and unreasonable to you – I agree with you that they were acting wrong)
Did you return to Islam?
Too Nosy!! Mind your own business, no offense.
@ken
If you have a hard time connecting to a person who is trying his best to ask for forgiveness how are you capable of connecting with the holy spirit?
Ok.
No, I do understand. Just wanted clarification; but I can discern.
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
connecting to the Holy Spirit of God, is only possible by God’s grace (according to the Bible). 2 Timothy 2:24-26; Acts 16:14; John 6:44, 6:65
True Christians know and have that connection. John 7:37-39; Galatians 4:6; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14; John chapters 14-16
Anyway, I just wanted to see if Paul’s apology also included those 3; because he may be only including all the other Muslims he offended. (there were others)
@ken
When a person makes an apology to an audience do you stand up from your chair and demand a mic to interrogate the speaker or do you just yell it out in self righteousness? You seem to enjoy denying br Paul a basic common decency that you as a Christian wrestle with. Love each other for the sake of God. Forgive each other for the sake of God. Is it not in your bible?
Ok, of course I agree with the principle; but not with your caricature of my question. ( I am not standing up on a chair, etc. or demanding, etc. )
Furthermore, if you study the NT (the true Injeel), relational forgiveness is going to each individual person privately and personally and asking for forgiveness and naming specifically the wrong committed. For example, “please forgive me for my sin of anger and calling you a name” or “forgive me for my angry tone”, etc.
Jesus Al Masih said to go to the person one on one for this, and ask for forgiveness and be reconciled – Matthew 5:21-26 and 18:15-20
Also, in my opinion, those 3 were in the wrong against Paul, so they are the ones who should ask him for forgiveness; but they cannot, because they are too full of pride and false religion to humble themselves.
You will know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:15-20
Another principle is that the teaching of Jesus is only understood in the context of the forgiveness of the atonement of Al Masih and church life. (see Matthew 18:15-20)
Rejection of Christ’s atonement for forgiveness makes it impossible for consistent Muslims to forgive one another – the spirit of Islam is the spirit of vengeance and fighting back and killing people – that is a deep problem within Islam itself.
I commend Paul, and Paul W. is showing human graciousness to a big group by his gesture, but there is no power of forgiveness without the atonement of the cross.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31-32
Muslims cannot really forgive one another ultimately, because they reject the first principle, “just as in Christ God forgave you”
Forgiveness is only possible, “in Christ”.
Repent and believe in the Messiah of the NT and all that He is. The true Jesus and true Injeel.
@Ken
First of all Jesus is not God
“Forgiveness is only possible, “in God, NOT in Jesus Christ”.
Repent and believe in the One and Only True God. Jesus is just prophet and Messiah sent by God.The NT is NOT The Injeel.
Yes Jesus is God in the flesh, born of the Virgin Mary, the eternal Word / Son who entered into time and humanity.
John 1:1-5; 1:14-18
Philippians 2:5-8
Colossians 1:15-20
Hebrews 1:3-12
John 20:28
John 5:17
John 10:30
John 8:56-58
@ken
the spirit of Christian is the spirit of hate and racist and insulting people – that is a deep problem within Christian itself.
nope, Rev. 5:9, 7:9, Colossians 3:11 and Galatians 3:28 proves you are wrong.
@Ken
the spirit of Christian is the spirit of hate and racist and insulting people and finally killing people– that is a deep problem within Christian itself.
no.
All NT (the true Injeel) proves you are wrong.
@ken
The Quran proves you are wrong
no because it is a false book that came along 600 years too late and is not revelation from God.
LOL..again, then Torah and Injeel also are the false holy book.
– Jesus is a false messiah
– Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob are the false prophet
– Adam and Eve are false ceations.
Your logic does not follow.
Revelation stopped with John the apostle and when the NT books were finished.
This was around 96 AD.
Jude 1:3 – “the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints”
Book of Revelation – was either written by 68-69 AD or 96 AD.
Hebrews 1:1-3
God has spoken in these last days through His Son . . .
John 17:8
Father, the words which You gave to Me I have given to them . . .
John 17:17 – “Your Word is truth”
The author of the Qur’an sincerely thought they (both OT and NT) were true and revelation. (what the Qur’an calls the Torah, Zabur of Dawood, Injeel of Jesus), but obviously he did not know the content of those books, and he did not know what they taught, since other parts of the Qur’an contradict the Bible. (especially Surah 4:157; 4:171; 5:72-75; 5:116; 6:101, etc.)
Of course The Quran contradict with The Bible because The Bible is not The Injeel that was given by God to Jesus.
Your logic does not follow.
No; the true Injeel message is all 4 of the NT gospels, along with the epistles and rest of NT.
Jesus said: “You Father, gave Your words to Me and I have given those words to them (and they wrote them down.)
John 17:8
The Holy Spirit led them into all the truth.
No more Scripture after 96 AD, after 27 books of NT writtten.
The Injeel in the Quran is not The 4 NT gospel. Nowhere in the Quran saying The Injeel is The 4 NT gospel.
Jesus teaches us according to Allah, not according to Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
Jesus said: “Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
So we Muslims worship Allah not Jesus.
Just by using the words, “Injeel” and “people of the book”, the Qur’an unknowingly was confirming and affirming ( تصدیق ) the 4 gospels, even thought it was ignorant of them as 4 individual books.
The fact that the Qur’an was ignorant of these, which had already been around for about 600 years (written between 45 – 80 AD) – Mark 45-60; Matthew 50-65; Luke 61 AD, John, either 69 or 80 AD); the ignorance means the spirit behind the Qur’an was ignorant, so therefore it cannot be from God.
But since it confirmed that the book the Christians were reading was “sent down” نزول – and the book the Christians were reading for 500 years was the NT, then it was confirming and testifying to the NT, unwittingly and ignorantly.
I’m so sorry for Christian trinitarian, they think Injeel is the 4 NT gospels, they think God is 3 in 1, they think Jesus is God. Everything they believe is opposite with the teaching of the Quran even though Jesus clearly said in the Quran to worship Allah alone.
Except the true Jesus is the Jesus of the NT, the true Injeel.
The Qur’an came 600 years too late and contradicts earlier revelation; therefore it is not an inspired book. (but at the same time unknowingly affirms the previous Scriptures)
Sorry for you, as the Qur’an is not from God Almighty.
You seem concerned about a period of time that passes before a revelation is sent by a creator who is outside of time itself. Unfortunately Ken, you lack the academic mindset of a critical thinker and have become an arrogant preacher. May Allah guide you and forgive us all of our sins
It is not the length of time alone that communicates the problem; but it does include it; the gap of 600 years is too massive and the contradictions to the NT is too massive also – together they demonstrate that the Qur’an is not from the true God. The Qur’an and Islam deny essential doctrine / revelation that was already established for centuries by the people of the book. اهل کتاب
Jesus as the eternal Logos, the incarnation, the Deity of Christ, the eternality of the Son; the Father and Son eternal spiritual relationship; The doctrine of the Trinity; the Death and resurrection of Al Masih and the theology and meaning of those events – Atonement and Salvation; original sin in the heart; etc.
and the fact that infallible revelation ceased with the apostles and NT revelation – Jude 3 – the faith that was delivered once for all to the saints; John 14-16 (the Spirit will lead you (apostles into all the truth); the final word in the Son – Hebrews 1:1-3; the warning at the end of the book of Revelation to not add to the book – by principle that extends to the whole NT. The closing of the canon of the NT, etc.
Together, the cumulative weight of these facts of NT theology and history demonstrates that the Qur’an and Islam cannot be from the true God, the true Allah.
holding onto truth is not arrogant.
It is actually liberal theology and the stuff that Paul Williams promotes that is the most Arrogant in the western world, because they (liberal academics) are the ones who have looked down on believers for the past 3 centuries in the west. (they look down on anyone who actually believes in the virgin birth of Christ, the resurrection, the inspiration of Scripture, miracles – parting of Red Sea; Jonah in belly of the whale, Jesus healing a blind man and lame man, etc.
they are the most arrogant & suppossedly scholarly because they deny God can speak and do miracles and enter into history – (Bart Erhman, Rudolph Bultmann, Peter Enns, Robert Funk, the classical enlightenment atheists and skeptics – Rousseau, Voltair, Hume, etc. )
@ken
I already said: “of course The Quran contradict the 4 NT because the 4 NT is not the Injeel.”
Now I add : “of course The Quran is not an inspired book.”
Unlike The 4 NT is an inspired book, The Quran and The Injeel are not inspired by God but the word of God.
Jesus didn’t teach us an inspired book but the word of God.
@ken
“The Qur’an came 600 years too late ”
From Adam to Jesus was approximately 4000 years
Adam was 930 years old when he died
4000-930 = 3070 years
Using your logic and according to your believe: Jesus and The 4 NT came 3070 years too late to forgives human sins.
In Islam God forgives human sins right away as long as it’s not shirk.
Therefore Christian faith can not be from God.
@Ken
You carry on with your beliefs and the reality of it is you pay for it at an intellectual cost. No truth seeker can reconcile with the anonymous writers of the gospels. When the quran is presented do you just cast it to the side and say it is not for us like the jews did? When you can set your old and illogical practices to the side and join us in the 21th century I think their will be hope for you and your soul. You might lose alot of friends and live a lonely existence in the process. You might become poor and exiled. Do you fear the path of the prophets?
I read the Qur’an in English many years ago (1986) It just does not have any divine quality to it, sorry to say. The truth that it does have it got from the OT and some oral things that Muhammad was hearing from the Ahl Kitab Christians, but never was able to read the NT, the true Injeel. It was not translated into Arabic until the 800s and 900s AD. So lots of stuff got garbled and mixed up and mixed up with Apocryphal gospels, infancy gospels, Gnostics, etc.
The gospel writers are not anonymous. Every copy we have, has the title on it – “Kata Mattheo”, “Kata Markus”, “Kata Lukas”, “Kata Yohanna”
that they are anonymous is a lie of Bart Ehrman and other liberals.
see chapter 2 & 3 of “The Case for Jesus” by Brant Pitre and Martin Hengel’s, The Four Gospels and the One Gospel of Jesus Christ; and Simon Gathercole’s works.
the path of the prophets is our tradition, (Jeremiah, John the Baptist, Jesus, His apostles), not the warlike conqueror Muhammad.
The gospel writers are not anonymous. Every copy we have, has the title on it – “Kata Mattheo”, “Kata Markus”, “Kata Lukas”, “Kata Yohanna”
Should have been:
Kata Matthaion
Kata Markon
Kata Lukan
Kata Ioannan
Sam wrote:

no, your logic does not follow, because Adam to Jesus and His apostles is OUR canon. (Genesis to Revelation)
It is one unified revelation.
Before Jesus, that is why God made the Jews build the tabernacle and the temple – blood atonement for forgiveness of sins.
Surah 37:107
“We have ransomed ( root – فدا، فدیه – same as in Mark 10:45) him with a mighty sacrifice” ذبح عظیم
Who is “OUR”?
“OUR” = our canon = the 66 books of the Bible, both OT and NT. We (Christians) are the ones who have the prophets and apostles, not you.
“Adam to Jesus” corresponds to our canon (Genesis to Revelation)
“We (Christians) are the ones who have the prophets and apostles, not you.”
LOL…Jesus is not even Christians.
Jesus worships The One and Only True God
You (Christian) worship Jesus
Using your logic and your believes: For 3070 years human don’t need Jesus and the 4 NT for their sins to be forgiven
Therefore The 4 NT and Jesus come way too late to forgive human sins.
Jesus is Lord of the Christians, and leader of the disciples, apostles, and those that follow Him.
John 14, 15, 16, 17
The Holy Spirit will lead the disciples of Jesus into all truth. (John 14, 16)
O Holy Father . . . (chapter 17)
for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. (17:8)
Your Word is truth; sanctify them in the truth. (17:17)
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; (17:20)
That is my point, you (Christians) take Jesus as your God and you worship him and you (Christians) make your own holy book (NT).
Jesus is not a Christian and never be a Christian, Jesus has and worships The One and Only true God, who creates heaven, earth and all creatures.
Therefore Christian faith and NT can not be from The true God.
@sam
Ken is in his choir preach mode and we can’t fool ourselves thinking he’s speaking as a man with any integrity discussing theology. What Muslims have to share he puts no value on it. I don’t see anymore reason to discuss things with him.
LOL..you’re right he is in his choir preach mode now
Jesus is the eternal Word (John 1:1-5; 1:14)
Even the Qur’an calls Him “a word” and “a spirit from Allah”. “Word” = logos / λογος / کلمه
Jesus is the eternal Word.
Became a human being, born of the virgin Mary;
therefore Jesus is God in the Flesh, the eternal Word and the eternal Son.
Jesus received worship – Matthew 2:1-12
Matthew 14:33
John 20:28
John 9:37-38
Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”
Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.
John 9:37-38
@ken
“Even the Qur’an calls Him “a word” and “a spirit from Allah”. “Word” = logos / λογος /کلمه
And also the Quran says Jesus is not God
And also the Quran says Jesus is not the son of God
And also Jesus says in the Quran: “Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
