Blogging Theology video ‘Jesus said Allah, not Deus’ has had over 150,000 views since it was published 3 weeks ago

Jesus’ native language was Aramaic. The Aramaic translation of the gospels present Jesus praying to and praising the God Whom he worshiped, naming him AaLah or AaLoh (the ‘Eastern’ and ‘Western’ vocalisations).

Jesus surrendered to his Lord, and his words (whether or not they are authentically preserved) indicate perfect slavehood to El/Elohim (Hebrew), AaLaH (Aramaic), Allaha (Syriac), Allah, the true name of the One God of Abraham.

  1. Just saying the word God alone doesn’t mean you believe in him as he has commanded.

Makes no difference which word for God you use or which language. Just another superstition that the word Allah is the “correct” word to worship God.

It won’t save you from hell.

    • what will save from hell?

      • A persistent homosexual is a reprobate anyway.

You can recite what you want till your b***s fall off. Won’t make any difference.

That is just my honest opinion. Nothing personal.

Mark 1:15 – “repent and believe”

      • Erasmus give me just one good reason why I shouldn’t ban you from the blog?

      • ERASMUS. we must show respect to everyone.

  2. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

    “such were some of you”

    John 3:1-21

    “you must be born again”

  3. You are right about many Arabic speakers following the dialogue of the Mel Gibson film (they had to get modern Assyrians to do the language – Assyrian is the closest living language today to the ancient Aramaic.)

At the time of the hype and sensation and controversy over Gibson’s “Anti-Semitism”; They played the movie in Cinemas in some Muslim countries like Kuwait and Qatar (because they heard it was Anti-semitic)

Many Arabic speakers testified when they heard “crucified him”, and “they crucified Him”, etc. – and saw the whole thing, with all the details, etc. they realized that He was indeed crucified and died, and that Surah 4:157 is wrong.

  4. Jesus said,

“come to Me all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

    Matthew 11:25-30

    • thanks for sharing Ken. I am not familiar with the Bible. I must read it one day.

      • very witty comeback from you . . .

        However . . .

39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, 40 yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

        John 5:39-40

The Pharisees and Jews of Jesus’ day studied the OT, “because you think that in them you have eternal life” (they believed it was inspired from God), you however, study the Scriptures diligently, but with all of your other studies from James Dunn, Dale Martin, Christopher Tuckett, Bart Ehrman, Raymond Brown, etc. in your mind from reading them and you filter everything through them, and study and write because you want to refute orthodox Christianity, not because you think the Bible is inspired. At least the Pharisees knew the OT was inspired.
