    I basically agree with much of the above. The Quran does see the husband and father as head of the household. It is silly for the household to not have someone in charge.

    So I haven’t agreed with the scholar being interviewed despite not reading her so called 20 reasons.

    However, the interview is quite illuminating. Some comments or aspects of her comments she makes about her methodology of the superiority of interpreting the Quran via the Quran rather than other sources are difficult to refute.
