polygamy may have or be applied in very rare exceptional circumstances in certain cultures, however polygamy does not have a place or application as muslims living in the modern day western world or mostly anywhere in the world … Muslim women of today dont need to be a 2nd wife or depended to a married man … times have changed…
Oh yes definitely a valid option and indeed practical in some circumstances no doubt .. i just think in today’s modern age, especially in the west where i live, polygamy is not necessary or practical, … except in rare instances in my community at least

It is still a valid option in the shariah as the Qur’an explicitly permits it.
