Lezley Hazleton was a reporter for various newspapers both in Israel and the U.S and has two degrees in psychology (B.A in Manchester University, M.A in Hebrew University of Jerusalem).

She is the author of two well-known books on both the Sunni-Shia schism and a biography on the life of the Prophet Muhammad.
