Convert vs revert: the Arabic word was muhtad مهتد which is from the form 8 ism fa’il اسم فاعل of ه د ى. You can look it up in Hans Wehr. Meaning someone who found the truth, committed to guidance, found the right guidance, converted to Islam, etc. So the whole “revert” thing is pure English semantics that really has no place in Islam, IMO. With regards to Islam being the natural fitrah there’s difference of opinion on what that ayah means as well.
Wow, didn’t know that. I wish someone would tell the Muslims at the park, because they really try to push this point so very hard.
Out of curiosity what are other opinions concerning Q. 30:30 as it appears to be pretty clear cut?
