Cambridge Mosque wins its second prize.
Several new mosques in Western countries have won prizes for their design in recent years.
On 19 November, Cambridge Mosque received the excellent news that they have won the prestigious 2019 Education and Public Sector prize in the annual Wood Awards. This is the second architectural award the mosque has won since its opening this year.
The Wood Awards is the UK’s premier competition for excellence in architecture and product design in the world’s only naturally sustainable material. The Awards aim to recognise, encourage and promote outstanding design, craftsmanship and installation using wood.
