    • Proof it was a demon?

    • Not according to the historical record.

    • More likely, it was a demon that came to Saul. Which sceanrio is more likely?

I would imagine it would be option 2 especially when he says a Messenger from Satan comes and visits him every night:

“Even if I wanted to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will credit me with more than he sees in me or hears from me, or because of these surpassingly great revelations.

So to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, A MESSENGER FROM SATAN, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:7-9 )

I mean what do you think?

      • Lol, oh the irony! And it seems the Christians are at their wits end about this. Many argue that it was a “metaphor” for some affliction, like eye problems. How pathetic can you be? 😂
