  1. What “bit of hate speech”?

  2. clean up your own blog

  3. Daniel is one divisive internet character. It’s best to avoid him.

    • No, he is not! I’m wondering why you would say that? Because he has confronted the stupid sufism Hamza Yusuf preach against Syrian people?

      • Why should Daniel’s condemnation of Hamza Yusuf matter? Yusuf is a recognized authority whereas Daniel is just some loudmouth on the internet.

  4. Paul,
You need to teach that principle to Faiz ( quranandbibleblog) and others when they go ah hominem and resort to name calling & insults.

  5. Brother Daniel has done great work exposing liberal Muslims. Calling Christians “criminals” for believing God has a mother is not hate speech, though it’s a bit over the top.

  6. where does the Quran call christians criminals?

    • @ Paul

      Christians are disbelievers:

Those who say: “God is the third in a trinity,” have certainly disbelieved, because there is no god except One God. If they do not stop the blasphemy they’re saying, a painful punishment will befall those of them who continue in this disbelief. (5:73)

So those who reject this from the People of the Scripture and the pagans, will be tortured in the fire of Hell where they will stay in ˹because˺ they’re the worst of existence. (98:6)

Disbelievers are also called criminals and will go to Hell:

20:74. Hell will be for whoever returns to their Lord as a sinning criminal, they will stay where they will neither die nor live.
20:75. But those who return to their Lord as believers with righteous deeds, the highest of ranks and status are for them.
20:76. They will stay in Gardens of Eternity with flowing rivers underneath them, ˹because˺ that’s the reward for those who purify themselves.

So, in conclusion, we can say they (in general) are criminals:
14:48. On the Day, when the earth is changed into another earth, the sky into another sky and all people are brought before God, the One, the Undeniable,
14:49. you will see the criminals on that Day, shackled together with one chain,
14:50. in outfits of molten tar ˹with˺ their faces covered in fire,
14:51. so that God can compensate every person as they deserve and God is swift in taking account.
14:44. So warn mankind about the Day when the punishment will come to them, and those that did wrong will cry: “Oh Lord! Just give us a little more time! We’ll answer Your call and follow the Messengers!” Didn’t you swear that you would never have a downfall?

If this was dawah purposes, then I would agree with you it’s inappropriate. But just us Muslims talking about their idolatry, I wouldn’t say it’s wrong. It comes back to the serious shirk this person posted. It would have been better for that man to fornicate with his mother in the street and then go kill somebody than to have said what he said.

      • “Those who say: “God is the third in a trinity,” have certainly disbelieved, because there is no god except One God. ”

This translation of Surah 5:73 is usually said by Muslims to not have the word “Trinity”, but rather “third of three”. “because there is no god except One God” – shows that the Qur’an Mis-understands the doctrine, since the doctrine was always that there is only one God.

Dr. White demonstrated the Qur’an’s weakness in understanding the doctrine in his debate with Bassam Zawadi.

    • In Islam, is there a difference between “sinner” and “criminal” ?

If so, what is the difference?

      • @ Ken

I wasn’t talking to you first off. You do worship three gods like many pagans before you:

        https://www.ucg.org/bible-study-tools/booklets/is-god-a-trinity/how-ancient-trinitarian-gods-influenced-adoption-of-the-trinity

Even then one of three is not incorrect. What you call the “Daddy” is the real Lord and you added gods alongside him. Next, using the same childish argument both you fasiq mujrimoon use, then the Bible doesn’t understand pagan gods:

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by the hands of men. They have mouths, but cannot speak; they have eyes, but cannot see; they have ears, but cannot hear; nor is there breath in thir mouths. Those who make them become like them, as do all who trust in them. (Psalm 13:15-18)

I guess the Bible didn’t understand that they don’t REALLY worship silver and gold. The idols are representations of the gods for the worshipper to focus and it manifests itself into the idol when worshipped. See how much of a retard I sound like? Now insert your trinity crap there.

Regarding the word “criminal” (mujrimoon) it encompasses- criminal, evil doer, sinner and convicted. This was me simply trying to encompass both in the verse.

  7. I agree we shouldn’t try to deliberately insult or offend Christians, which is why I think brother Daniel went a little over the top, but the fact is that all unbelievers are condemned in the Quran. Sure, there are extenuating circumstances such as when a person doesn’t hear about Islam, but we can’t be politically correct. The Quran does say that Allah only accepts Islam.

    • “I agree we shouldn’t try to deliberately insult or offend Christians, . . . ”

You don’t seem to live by that principle in practice.

You go out of your way to constantly have insulting words, “moron”, “pennywise”, “idiot”, “hypocrite”, “liar”, while not even understanding the definition of liar and lying.

    • @ QB

I agree I don’t find the need to pull punches in this regard. Accept you find success, don’t then know that choice has consequences when you go before your Lord.

Now, this is where we differ. I don’t think the brother went over the top. It looks like (at least what can be seen in the context) is he was talking to Muslims. But to say he was involved in “hate speech” is too far as he didn’t call for violence against anyone.

  8. Its par for the course for class war ideologies to demonize their opponents. The flames have to be stoked. It obviously works. Then we have others pulling at the leash calling for moderation. That is supposed to calm the outsiders to lull them in to thinking they are not so nasty after all. It is all so predictable. Everybody plays their part.

  9. Nothing here is considered a “hate speech” as some brothers have rightly hinted out.
Those people are criminals in the sense that they slander God by attributing to Him false things.
“Who does greater wrong than someone who fabricates lies about Allah, or denies His revelations? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed” QT 10:17
Muslims are very sensitive to these fabrications about Allah عز وجل in out of the pureness and the delicacy of their faith about God and His Holiness.

If the wall of your house were so white and so refined, any scratch or writing on it would be an act of vandalism. However, if the wall already were so messed up with graffitis and scratches, the eye would barely detect any difference if it would not at all.

  10. “Iggy, the supporter of David the raider and mass murderer is complaining about “class war ideologies” and “demonizing” opponents. Go figure…”

Same thing can happen to anyone who doesn’t cough up their jizya.

Which was sometimes exacted in the form of their children.

““Who does greater wrong than someone who fabricates lies about Allah, or denies His revelations? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed” QT 10:17”

Allah didn’t seem to make much effort to dissuade anyone of their false beliefs did he now? If the best he could do was the point of a sword doesn’t speak much in his favour does it?

“Muslims are very sensitive to these fabrications about Allah عز وجل in out of the pureness and the delicacy of their faith about God and His Holiness.”

So non-Muslims are criminals who are offending the sensitivities of Muslims. That is a great recipe for social cohesion, lol. We all have to bow down to the sensitivities of our muslim overlords.
