  1. It is true that true Salafis are against extremism.

And the vast, vast majority of Salafis like 99.999% are against extremism that involves violence…. the percentage of Salafis expressing openness to considering some of the points of other Muslim perspectives is vastly, vastly low.

But the elephant in the room that is not discussed in the Muslim world or the world in general as much as it needs to is

Why is almost 100% of the violent extremism in the Muslim world and virtually 100% of the violent extremism by professing Muslims in majority non-Muslim countries traced to Salafis or Salafized Muslims?

Is there something in the mindset of Salafi historical and contemporary leaders that leads to this?

Is there something in the Salafi literature?

Is there something in the close minded approach of Salafis?

Is there something in the anti-reason approach of Salafis?

Is there something in the institutionalized tactic of Salafis to not engage with other views when they are losing the argument?

Is there something in the approach by Salafis to value the oral narrations of hadith to some degree even higher than the infallible words of the Almighty, of God

Of course, all of the above overlap each other.

We need some real analysis and some honesty……TODAY.

Is there something in spreading propaganda that is just straight-up untrue or a drastic over-simplification of facts?

      • Stop Lying.

Terrorists like Al Qaeda and ISIS are devoted to Salafi texts and ONLY Salafi texts.

The terrorists who identify as Muslims are virtually all Salafis and they are killing innocent non-Muslims and producing an oppressive and suffocating counter-reaction in certain parts of around the world against hundreds of millions of innocent Muslims.

These terrorists who identify as Muslims gleefully virtually always point to Salafi interpretations for justifying their evil hell-bound crimes.

        So…..

Why is almost 100% of the violent extremism in the Muslim world and virtually 100% of the violent extremism by professing Muslims in majority non-Muslim countries traced to Salafis or Salafized Muslims?

This is just a big fat lie.

I’m not sure why some dishonest muslims try to exploit the western propaganda against salafis to attack salafis not because they are actual extremists, but because they have ability to expose heresies that some muslim sects have adopted. Fear Allah!

      Several points:

      1. Your oversimplification of facts

It is not “lying” to state you are drastically oversimplifying the situation into almost a cartoonish black and white. But since you would like to go the insulting route, first so you can get something called “nuisance” and “knowing what you’re talking about” as like all madhabs there is a diverse range of thought among Salafis:

      2. “Terrorists like Al Qaeda and ISIS are devoted to Salafi texts and ONLY Salafi texts.”

Anyone can claim anything that doesn’t make it true otherwise Christians are monotheist. Also, I’m going to challenge you please quote some of these “Salafi texts” for us. Last I checked a lot of them misquote scholarly positions or have their OWN “scholars” interpret text (for example the boy and the king hadith allowing sucide bombing). But I would LOVE to see what you bring up (especially considering that they made takfiri on most major Salafi scholars)

      3. “Is there something in the close minded approach of Salafis? Is there something in the anti-reason approach of Salafis? Is there something in the institutionalized tactic of Salafis to not engage with other views when they are losing the argument?”

I almost had to laugh at this one especially considering one could call the Salafi movement a response to the extreme nature some people were having in the madhabs.

      4. Is there something in the approach by Salafis to value the oral narrations of hadith to some degree even higher than the infallible words of the Almighty, of God

Oh you mean hadith like the thing that EVERY Muslim on planet Earth prior to colonialization when some people became insecure about the British and so they started claiming all Islamic scholarship was wrong with NOBODY to support them follow?

    • I think they have developed their opinions on many things.

What you don’t know is that Ibadis, who think Ali is Kafir, and Shi’a, who think Ali as almost a divine being, both agree in attacking salafis (sunnis), and they support each other on the social media against them!

It reminds me of a jew, who thinks Jesus as bastard and a false prophet, and a christian, who think Jesus as God Himself, when they support each other on social media to attack muslims.

      It’s such a hypocrite world!

Say, “Our God, Initiator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of all secrets and declarations. You will judge between your servants regarding what they had differed about.” QT

O you who believe! You are responsible for your own souls. He who has strayed cannot harm you if you are guided. To God is your return, all of you, and He will inform you of what you used to do.” َُ

I’ll now help you out now. Yazid’s atrocities in the Second Fitna had nothing to do with “being a Sunni” he simply wanted power like any other tyrannical King. Hussein(ra) was not different in theology to any other Muslim.

  4. It is also important to stop a type of gaslighting false narratives.

Terrorists who identify as Muslims do NOT identify as Kharjites or Ibadis (about 100.000000% are not terrorists)

They do NOT point to Khariji texts to justify their crimes.

They DO point to Salafi texts to justify their crimes.

They DO call on themselves to emulate Salafis that they look up to of the past.

    Why?

What is in the Salafi mindset and the Salafi literature and the Salafi cultish and simplified inaccurate cartoonish way they interpret history of the first century of Islam and all past Muslim history that primes them rather than other Muslims to be extremist is a fascinating intellectual question.

Again, only a tiny percentage of them teach openly extremist teachings and a more tiny percentage support violent extremism.

But it is still an intolerable issue since there is vast suffering because of the violent extremists who are virtually all Salafis.

Not only something that calls for an explanation for intellectual and academic purposes.

But more importantly an urgent moral need to analyze and answer this question in all it’s dimensions honestly because much oppression is occurring because this question is avoided or the answers are obfuscated by Salafis who find it uncomfortable to allow to be discussed transparently in the public domain.

This is the definition of Kufr….covering over the truth.

They need to fear Allah from their kufr.
