Some Christians claim that the promise of miracles is “metaphorical” but this argument is refuted by the gospel of Matthew:
“Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (7:22-23)
So, the miracles were clearly meant to be literal miracles, even though not everyone who performs them will get into heaven. Does that mean that the miracles they performed were actually inspired by Satan?
Regardless, this doesn’t absolve Christians from the promise. The fact is that no Christian, whether “true” ones or “false” ones, can prove Jesus’ promise true by actually performing genuine miracles. This proves that Christianity is a false religion.
““Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’”
“26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?”
all those crosstians who genuinely belived that jesus was in them were being deceived . the fruits they produced was only dividing them and they didn’t even see it. what this means is satan is powerful enough according to the bible to deceive you
