Rev Dr Steve Latham debates Paul Williams on ‘Salvation in Islam and Christianity’ at London Central Mosque Pt 2

This was filmed a few years ago. Steve Latham was my pastor at Westbourne Park Baptist Church in London where I became a born again Christian. It was very good of him to come to London’s premier mosque and debate with me.

  1. Good to see these links. I thought they had disappeared since you (Paul W.) left MDI and changed your blogs several times, so it is good to see these again after so many years. (like 8 years ago) I am looking forward to going over them again, because I remember they were significant.

    Part 1 also:

  2. I thought Abdullah from MDI had suppressed the only existing copy of this debate, but quite by chance yesterday I found this recording. There are a number of other top class debates I did that are still being suppressed by Abdullah – to his eternal shame.

  3. AsSalaamu alaikum,
This was a really good recording; you covered a lot and responded thoroughly and to the point, mashaAllah.

Also, I noticed a couple of people I recognised in the audience – like Adnan Rashid and Br Nazam. (I think it’s them.)

  4. I think pastor Latham often resorted to weak emotional arguments as Paul used more sound rational arguments while referencing the Bible to refute Trinitarianism and highlight similarities between Teachings of Jesus and Islam all at once!! Impressive!
