“A curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn from the way that I am commanding you today, to follow other gods that you have not known.”

It was incoherent for Mohammed to go to the Jews claiming to be a prophet. They made a fool of him. He got peeved and got his revenge on them and now the Jews have to punished for ever and a day. Just another proof that Islam is a false religion.
