Windows, doors, curtains, and stars All they do is open, they beckon to the beyond,

Abraham saw them and vanished in God

West to East; known in their perishing

Joseph saw them, thrown in a well!

Moses followed them as the shepherds in Bethlehem;

Muhammad holds the veil and the Light shines through, transfigures hell!

The Lights of Allah are the ayats of the Transcendent Qur’an; a book that never finishes, its pages shine, its words illuminate; the heart of man is its cover.

Light cannot be known by any other
