A taboo in the gay ‘community’ (yes even there some things are still taboo)

This is actually one hell of an admission which I’m sure is accurate. Recall that even Oscar Wilde was married with 2 children. Matthew Parris was a Conservative MP under Margaret Thatcher (so to speak). For many ‘gay’ men it seems being gay is a choice after all.

But shush don’t tell anyone..

  1. *shrug* even if true for some gay people (and if it involves concerted effort to deny their true nature then one wonders if that’s truly a choice), does it seem even remotely likely in even a sizeable minority of cases, let alone a majority? How many members of the LGBT community choose to face all of the stigma and abuse that goes with being gay?
