A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with propriety. – 1 Timothy 2: 11-15
The Bible and Qur’an agree that men and women serve different roles not only in worship but also in the family:
Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. – Ephesians 5:22-24
This is seen as a scandal today even amongst some Christians but it is in the Bible so maybe the missionaries should take a look a little closer to home next time they think to criticize the Qur’an 😉
Secularism owns christianity, hence why even xtians themselves laugh at these verses.
